Capital Cities to Headline 2014 Grave Diggers Ball

Chart-topping Capital Cities will headline the biggest Halloween celebration on the East Coast as Kiss 95.1 presents the 2014 Grave Diggers Ball on Saturday night, Oct. 25 at 6 p.m., next to Dixie’s Tavern, 300 East 7th St. in Uptown. This year’s Grave Diggers Ball will feature DJs, Charlotte’s largest costume contest and live performances by Capital Cities, Eden XO and Night Terrors.

Marking its 15th year in Charlotte, Grave Diggers Ball has become one of the most popular annual events the city has to offer.

After initially meeting on Craigslist, Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian formed VMA and Grammy nominated indie electro brand Capital Cities. Featuring multi-Platinum hit ‘Safe and Sound,’ Capital Cities has recently wrapped up a four continent tour playing for tens of thousands of international fans.

General admission tickets for Grave Diggers Ball are $15 and available at BlackFinn, Vida, Bubble Charlotte, Whisky River, SUITE, StrikeCity, Libretto’s or online at Kiss951.com. Grave Diggers Ball also features Charlotte’s largest costume contest, with over $10,000 in prizes. Front Stage VIP tickets are available for $60 and guarantees a front-stage spot in the VIP viewing area, $80 VIP Club Passes are also on sale and include catered food and VIP cash bar.

Grave Diggers Ball turns the Queen City into the Scream City every October with area’s largest costume contest, DJs and live music performances by chart-topping acts.
